About Us: About Us

Our Avivaa Story

Fred and Terrie Joseph are the founders of Avivaa Enterprises, a dynamic organization with a diverse portfolio. From La Maison D'Avivaa to Avivaa Utv, we excel in various industries. Our commitment to enhancing tourism globally in Haiti and empowering local workers in Cap-Haitien sets us apart from the industry. The first order of business for the new company is the construction of La Maison D’Avivaa.

La Maison D’Avivaa will sport 13 bedrooms, beachfront views, and a large veranda. The structure was designed by the Mexican company House of Tulum and is being constructed by a team of local builders.

The Josephs envision renting La Maison D’Avivaa to groups of tourists eager to enjoy Cap-Haitien’s natural beauty and unique attractions. And lucky for future guests, Avivaa offers guided tours of Okap and sites surrounding the city.

The tours will feature natural and historical wonders of Northern Haiti. Excursions to the Citadelle, Sans-Souci, and Boi Cayeman will offer guests access to sites that played pivotal roles in Haiti’s fabled feat of becoming the world’s first Black Republic; trips to Labadee and Amiga Island will allow tourists to experience classic Caribbean relaxation; while outings to the towns of DonDon and Saint-Raphaël will grant exclusive access to traditional Haitian life.

The Josephs also want to add some new age flair to their tours, which is why they have a fleet of UTVs available for rent. The idea to bring UTVs to Haiti stemmed from a trip Fred took to the Middle East a decade ago.
